We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you. This includes professional contact information, store inventory data, and transaction reports strictly for your merchant account use.
2. App Functionality and Permissions
The App may request access to your device's Camera to scan barcodes for inventory lookup, and Face ID/Touch ID for secure authentication. These permissions are used solely for the stated functionality and the data is not shared with third parties.
3. Technical information and device permissions
Epic Dashboard uses your email address, account identifiers, and app-installation identifiers to manage access and protect your sessions. Inventory changes are associated with your merchant account.
Epic Dashboard uses Google ML Kit to scan barcodes. The SDK collects app and device information, per-installation identifiers, performance measurements, and technical event and error information for diagnostics and usage analytics. Barcode camera images are processed on your device. EpicPOS does not receive your Face ID or Touch ID biometric templates; biometric verification is performed by your device. You can manage camera permission in your device settings and optional biometric app lock in Epic Dashboard.
4. Records and privacy requests
We retain account and merchant records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Some records may need to be retained to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.
